We accept interns for internships.

During your internship you will be in contact with clients, you will be able to attend consultations, clinical procedures and deliveries. You also have access to a renowned water birth practice with our experienced founder Hannah Freiwald, her center is "Natural Birth Center".  You will accompany us to different communities for  free family planning days  and you will observe a holistic and respectful approach to the entire field of sexual and reproductive health for women.

 

If you are interested in sexual and reproductive health, you are a student or you have just graduated as a midwife, doula, maternal-child nurse or in public health, you can be part of our team. Internships have a minimum duration of 6 weeks and a maximum of 3 months. The weekly cost includes accommodation in our simple but comfortable space near the famous Antigua Guatemala City and is $250 USD.

Are you a midwife with at least 2 years of experience, do you share our feminist values  and speak Spanish?

 

You are a candidate to be a resident! Residents receive symbolic financial compensation and can learn how to run a community birth center. We teach you everything you don't know about gynecology, family planning, suturing, administration, human rights, and sexual and reproductive rights. Residencies can last from 3 months to 1 year.
