For us it is important that you not only have a natural birth but that it is a safe one and from which you emerge feeling triumphant. Our midwives and students are in constant training to give you the most up-to-date care based on scientific evidence. We know that pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period are a very vulnerable time in a woman's life, which is why we offer education, information, respectful and warm care to deliver your baby. During your birth at AMA:

• 24/7 on call providers

• Flexible fees according to socioeconomic study

• You can be accompanied by 2 people

• You can eat and drink freely

• You can and we recommend that you walk and change into various positions to speed up your birth.

• You can give birth in any position you want

• You can take a hot shower, get massages, sleep, laugh, cry, talk, whatever makes you feel better and helps your baby to be born.

• When your baby is born she goes directly to your chest.

• They are never separated, we promote exclusive breastfeeding if that is what you wish.

• Do what you want to do with your placenta, take it or throw it away is respected.

• You are given information about caring for the baby and caring for yourself as a postpartum mother.

• We have emergency medications and procedures available but we are nurse midwives and we do not perform a cesarean section. If you need one, we will quickly refer you to the hospital of your choice, national or private. 

• Postpartum follow-up is given to you and your baby for a speedy recovery

• You are given advice on breastfeeding.

We attend births of breech babies, twins and births after having undergone a cesarean section. If this is your case, do not hesitate to come for a consultation!​
